An average repair cost varies between £250 and £500 depending on the cost of the spare parts. It takes on average between 1-5 working days to fix the shower when spare parts are available.

In some rare cases the cost could be significantly higher due to a number of factors such as (but not limited to):

• the mixer was not originally installed securely - sometimes an expanding foam is used to fix the mixer or other similar methods that would not allow to apply full pressure to the mixer to disassemble it without damaging the pipework;
• very old and rusty mixer - sometime it is not possible to take the mixer apart without damaging the unit due to its age and rust;
• no spare parts available for the unit.

In the above and some other rare scenarios we would offer a replacement solution which is treated as a separate order.

Here is a list of the information we require in order to provide you with the quotation for the shower mixer repair service:

• Your full address including the postcode;
• Your full name, phone and email;
• Description of the issue;
• Video of the shower mixer demonstrating the issue (if possible);
• Photo of the shower mixer;
• Photo of your stop cock and access to it;
• State of your stop cock - working or need replacement.
